Two-way communication
myMSP can both send and receive different types of messages such
as SMS, MMS and email. Using a virtual number, messages can be
threaded, i.e. outgoing and incoming messages can be connected
together as a conversation.
SMS
myMSP can direct an incoming SMS to your inbox using a keyword
(prefix) placed first in the message. You decide which prefix to
use. If you want the recipient to reply direct to your SMS without
giving a prefix, we recommend using a virtual number. A virtual
number is reserved for your account and if you are set as the
sender the recipient can reply to your SMS in the same way they
would reply to a normal SMS sent from a mobile phone. It is also
possible to combine a prefix and a virtual number to create a
unique ID.
MMS
If you want to receive images, films or sound files, incoming MMS
is a good alternative. Unfortunately, MMS cannot be threaded, but
if the sender gives a keyword first in the text, or a header,
myMSP can place the MMS in specific inboxes.
E-mail
An incoming SMS can be forwarded as email to an address specified
in advance. The format of the email can be adapted according to
your requirements. If forwarding is used together with our
M2SMS or OMS
it is possible to reply to an incoming SMS directly from an email
program such as Outlook.
